Music

Nocturne’s distinctive sonic atmosphere is heavily influenced by the musical palette of our resident composer, Kent Sparling. Kent has released 7 records of experimental electro-acoustic music over the past 20 years, and composed or co-composed film scores for Wayne Wang, James Gray, and Eduardo Sanchez, among others.

Kent is available as a collaborator for film scores, multi-media installations, dance performances, and podcast/radio productions.

You can find more information and examples of his work at kentsparling.com.

While Kent’s music is pervasive throughout Nocturne, we’re grateful for the contributions of several other talented musicians. Full music credits can be found in the show notes for individual episodes.
